Stops

Door stops, the same species as the jamb, are applied to the jamb by hand after the door is mounted, ensuring that the stop is snug to the door itself.  This eliminates misalignment often caused by machine application (used by most fabricators).  Some customers request that their doors be shipped with the stops loose -- we are happy to accommodate them.       
        
Any of the above door blanks can be hung on any of the above jambs. Door sizes range from 12" (1/0) to 36" (3/0) for single sizes and up to 72" (6/0) for doubles. Standard door blank height is 80" (6/8).          

 Height:  Add 2-1/2" to nominal door height.      
 Width:   Add 2" to nominal door width.      
              Add additional 1/2" for double door units with astragal.      
        
All doors are hung on jambs using three (3) 3 -1/2" x 3 -1/2"  butt hinges.  Dull brass hinges are standard; bright brass is optional. Other finishes are available per special order.          
        
Hinges are placed 7" from the top of the door, 7 " from the bottom and in the center.        
        
Standard lock preparation is for a 2-3/8" backset, 2-1/8" bore. Latchset bore is 1" diameter with the door edge mortised for a round cornered latchface. The lock preparation is centered 44" from the top of the door.
