Lezzer Lumber Honors Allison Cryzter with 2025 Lezzer Legacy Award

Lezzer Lumber is proud to announce Allison Cryzter, Dispatcher at Lezzer’s Indiana location, as the 2025 Lezzer Legacy Award recipient. Selected from more than 500 employees, this honor recognizes an individual who truly lives out the company’s core values of Family, Integrity, Pride, and Passion.

The Legacy Award is earned through a company-wide process. Each quarter, employees nominate a fellow team member at their location to be that quarter’s recipient. At the end of the year, managers select one annual nominee from those four winners. From there, each location’s nominee is reviewed by senior leadership and scored based on how well they live out our core values. Once the results are tabulated, one winner is selected and announced.

For Allison, those values aren’t just words – they show up in how she works, how she leads, and how she takes care of the people around her. “I treat everybody here as if they’re my kids,” Allison says. “Constantly checking on them, making sure they’re okay. I want everybody to feel included and taken care of, and that goes for our customers too.” 

“Allison has made her coworkers and customers her family,” said Tom Limely, Allison’s manager. “She’s always willing to help. She’s takes care of everyone around her.”

In a role that requires constant coordination and problem-solving, Allison ensures deliveries are accurate and on time while supporting all aspects of operations behind the scenes. But it’s the way she goes about her work that sets her apart.

“She makes everybody work harder, work better and smarter,” Limely added. “Without even trying, she makes people around her better.”

That quiet leadership has helped shape a culture where people feel supported and motivated to do their best. Whether it’s stepping in to help a teammate, making sure customers are taken care of, or bringing in breakfast for the team after a long week, Allison consistently puts others first.

“I work hard and put in a lot of time and energy because I love my job,” said Cryzter. “I don’t expect recognition for it, but to be recognized is heartwarming. It’s a big honor.”

Allison’s pride in her work and passion for serving both her team and customers are evident in everything she does. Though she often works behind the scenes, her impact is felt across the entire operation. During the award presentation, customers joined employees in congratulating her, a testament to the relationships she’s built along the way.

Now in its second year, the Lezzer Legacy Award is part of a larger commitment to recognizing employees who go above and beyond throughout the year. By spotlighting and thanking those who live out its core values, Lezzer continues to build a culture that values hard work, growth, and the people who show up for each other every day.
